Charlesworth Reserve

On Wednesday we went on a trip to Charles Worth Reserve. We planted some plants and then we went over by Mitre 10 and picked up rubbish. We all planted about 3 or 4 plants each and all together it was around 150 plants. We went with 7/8Wh and 7/8Ts even the Kiwi Kaha leaders came with us. We went out by the wetlands it is was so muddy and sandy, there were so many Crab holes as well. We planted different types of plants I can't really remember what they were called, I think they were Sea Rush or just Rush.

When we first got there we had our morning tea. It was a pretty long bus drive.

We had the Park ranger Andrew come and help us plant the plants and where we needed to plant them and where we needed to go to plant them and things like that.

After we planted the plants we went and had some lunch. Then after lunch we went and picked up rubbish around Mitre 10.

It was very muddy and sandy so we all got covered in mud and sand. It was still fun though. I had a great time but it was also exhausting.

Charles Worth Reserve is located in Bromley and that is in the middle of Ferrymead.

Mr Tish was the one that made this all happen big Thanks to him! :)
