Photography - Art

 Subject matter -

What is the subject matter? Separating parts

There are figures and then we have to background.

How are these put together?

Some things might be a similar colour or the topic will just combine with each other.

Form -

How are parts grouped and overlapped? What is the focal point of the composition?

One of the soldiers could be a focal point.

Do the colours create a mood or create  relationships between parts?

There are a lot of different colours but some of the soldiers just pop out more.

Content / Meanings -

Define the main subject? What does it mean

The soldiers are at “war”

Does your combination of elements add up to new meaning?

There’s not much of a meaning to it, the photo was just for fun.

Orana park

Yesterday we went back to Orana park with Mt and Ds. We saw heaps of animals like Gorilla's, Giraffe's, Lemurs, Kiwi's, Owl, Leopard's, Spider monkey's, Kea's, Lion's, Cheaters, Rhino (fat unicorns) and different reptiles like Tuatara, Frogs, Gecko's and ect. My favourite part of Orana park was lunch, my favourite animals was basically all of them because I kept saying they were cute. We were spilt into 4 groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 our leader's name was Elizabeth. We got to feed the Giraffes which was really cool.

After we went into the kiwi encloser we had a we talk about Ferrets and Rats and animals kind of like that. They had stuffed Ferret's and a stuffed Rat and we got to touch them they actually felt so real!

When we went to go see the Kea's there were 2 of them Arthur and Teike. At first Arthur was jumping on some people and then Teike jumped on and pushed Arthur off.

We got to look at the lions and they were HUGE but they were still cute.

We saw a Lemur and it WAS ADORABLE!

We saw a Rhino/Fat Unicorn

Orana Park was really fun and I love the animals if you ever want to go there this is the address:

Hurumanu Drama - Paper Bag puppets

On Tuesday we made paper bag puppets. I worked in a group with Addyson and Shontelle. The puppets we made were 2 Spongebobs and a Patrick. Before that we did a poster about the 4 aspects of Hauora. Then we started to plan what our puppets were going to look like. Addyson and Shontelle did Spongebob I did Patrick because Patrick is cool.

Later today we are going to perform our puppet show. Our puppet show goes like this. So we start off by singing the theme song and then Shontelle's Spongebob will take my Patrick to the Krusty Krab and I'll ask for 2 Kelp salads. Then Addyson is the surprise Spongebob then we start to talk about how eating healthy food relates to all 4 aspects of Hauora. Next we will be having fun as friends then we will sing the fun song from Spongebob.

When we did the Poster about the 4 aspects of Hauora we said some stuff like always eating healthy food and I will cook for my family and just stuff like that. Taha Tinana Is Physical well being to help that well being with eating food you can eat healthy food to give yourself more energy. CIP - Gardening

Today we got the choice to choose what we are going to do today for our CIP. The options were Gardening, Compost and Jam. Gardening means to go out to the back of the school and pick the weeds so that we can plant our little seedlings. I was working in a group with Addyson and Shontelle while we picked the leaves. Compost means to go out to the Compost area and flatten it so it could turn into soil. Jam is where you have to design labels or posters for the Jam that we made so we could sell it.

I choose gardening so I was picking the weeds and it got really messy. My hands and knees were covered in dirt its was really gross, but I didn't really care. It was actually fun weeding.

unsolved mysteries from the Bermuda Triangle

The unsolved mysteries about the Bermuda Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle is also known as the Devil's Triangle but it's not that much of a devil. The Bermuda Triangle can suck your boat or plane into the ocean but sometimes it can't. Some facts say that the Bermuda Triangle has a see monster but it's just a myth. The Bermuda Triangle lives between Mexico/Florida, Porto Rico and Bermuda. Did you know in 1942 a plane called Flight 19 was flying to the Bahamas and it was never seen again? Here is my groups creation we made about Flight 19.

This is my groups creation. Some of them don't have paper mache because we didn't have enough time to do it but it was still a success. I feel like we didn't do enough because it's not 2 or 3d but some of it is.

I had heaps of fun doing it but one of a group mates were not here and that is Nature.

I hope you liked the photo and have a nice weekend bye.
