W1 D2 Faster than a speeding bullet

Today I am doing day 2 of Summer Learning Journey. Today the activity I'm doing is Faster Than a Speeding Bullet. We have to make similes relating to is as fast as, is as tall as, is as small as and is beautiful like. These are my similes.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is as fast as a cheetah.

For cyber smart we had to pick a country that we want to go to. I picked Australia, I actually have been to Australia and I would love to go again.

We have some questions to answer about the country we want to go to.

The Capital of Australia is Canberra.

In 2011 the population of Canberra was 403,468 but now it has dropped to about 390,000

January is the hottest month in Canberra.

 It has a average of temperature of 69°F (21°C) The coldest month is in July 42°F (6°C)

Canberra is located at the northern Australia capital.

Canberra people don't speak a different language they just speak English.

So me and my Family just got to Australia and we went to sleep then we woke up and wanted something to eat.

Normally in Australia they have Cereal, Toast or a Coffee, or is they want something hot they would have Bacon, Eggs, Sausages and Fried Tomato.

In stead of Waitangi day Australia has Australia day which is 26 of January.

Then we had to go back home to NZ.

I am 11 :( nearly 12 :) I am part Maori because my Dad is Half Maori. I have 6 brothers and 4 sisters. I grew up with a lot of boys so I'm not very lady like. :D I have 4 Nephews and 1 niece :( 

Yeah my family if pretty big :) Thats good thought I get more presents for Christmas!!

My friends think I am really weird and quirky but I think I'm just not normal :)
