My recount

On the last week of the holidays, I went to Hornby Mall with lots of my friends and family. There was Sharney, Phenix, Rillie, Ella, Cooper, Pippa and my older sister Tamara. We went to see Elgrego the magician at the shop. We're hoping to have lots of fun together.

It was Cooper’s birthday and we went to Ashburton to the Domain Park to watch cricket, to go on the zipline, play in the pools and we played in the playground for a very long time.

At the park we ordered pizza and we got about 6 different pizzas but only ate two pizzas but it was very yummy. We ordered pepperoni, meat lovers and hawaiian.

We got back from Ashburton and we ate the rest of the Coopers birthday cake. We had some lunch which was really really yummy. Cooper got a lot of presents and he had only turned 4.

I feel happy that we got to see El Grego, we got to go to Ashburton and it was Cooper’s birthday. I had lots of fun in Ashburton with my friends and family we had a lot of fun together.

My worst day ever (second draft)

                    

My worst day ever.

One warm summer day on December 14, I was migrating with my family by the African Savannah river.  Then my herd and I  stopped peeked around the corner and then I got a thought in my head, that things are getting freaky. Suddenly I can feel what's going to happen around the corner, it tasted like it was going to be my worst nightmare ever in my life.        

And it was. My herd and I saw lions then we had to run. It felt like they were getting closer and closer and then Pow!!! I got tackled by the pride of lions. Then I fell in the salty water and I looked all muddy and my fur is all sticky.  Then a crocodile came along and I felt a big sharp Snap!!! A crocodile bit my tail, and then the lions and the crocodile were playing tug of war with me and used me as the rope. The lions won the game of tug of war and they pulled me out of the water so they can try eat me. I thought that my herd left me here to get eaten by the lions. Then they came back with the rest of my family and tackled the lions so the lions had to run away. Then the lions got scared of my dad and ran.

I’m so glad that I’m back with my family again and I will never see those lions again ever in my life. That was really my first ever worst nightmare.
