Finger prints
Aim: To look at the different types of fingerprints.
Material:
- Balloon
- Magnifying glasses
- Ink pad
- Finger
Steps
- Get a balloon
- Ink your finger/thumb
- Put your thumb on the balloon
- wait for balloon to dry
- then blow up the balloon
- see if your a Loop, Whorl or Arch
Record the types of fingerprints from those in your group.

Summary of findings: My friend Addyson had a whorl on her thumb but Shontelle and I had a Loop. We all had a Loop when we tried our finger.

- Got baby powder
- Got piece of plastic
- made finger prints
- put baby powder on piece of plastic
- brushed some of it off
- took of the finger prints with sellotape
